ADI KAILASH

Located at an altitude of 6,310 meters, ADI KAILASH, also referred to as Chhota Kailash or Little Kailash is another replica of Mountain Kailash in Tibet. It is situated in Indian Territory in Pithoragarh district of state Uttarakhand, within closeness to the Indo-Tibetan border. In the lap of the Kumaon Himalayas, Adi Kailash is a popular pilgrimage place for Hindu Devotees. One can spot the transparent Parvati Lake and the Gauri Kund, decorated on the edge of Adi Kailash.

Tourists who love hiking and spirituality are often attracted by Mount Adi Kailash. The mesmerizing view of these snow-clad mountains, hypnotize the visitors. ON THE WAY TO ADI KAILASH

From Gunji the Kailash Man Sarovar path divides off to Kalapani from where the Kali River flows. Forward from here is Navidhang (3987m) Lipupass is only 9kms from here. From Navidhang’ s “Om Parvat,” the miracle of nature is clearly visible.

Snow lies down on this mountain in the shape of enduring “OM”, the ancient sound. All other slopes may be unclad but this engraving in the snow is everlasting. One also gets the feeling by observing this peak that the mountain itself is Lord Shiva embodied.

KUTI VILLAGE

OM PARVAT

One of the most famous tourist attractions in Dharchula is the mesmerizing view of the magnificent Om Parvat, situated at a height of 6,191m, Om Parvat has located 75% in the neighbouring country Nepal while the rest lies in the district Pithoragarh of the state Uttarakhand.

Om Parvat is one of the divine peaks for Hindus and pilgrims and devotees visiting this region to get a glance at it. The main and only attraction of Om Parvat is the formation of the symbol ‘om’ on the peak when the ice encloses it in the snow during snowfall in winter. There is no doubt, that Om Parvat is determined as one of the gems in the region of the Kumaon Himalayas.

Om Parvat is famous for its peaks and mountains, the heart-taking view of the majestic Himalayas, and the view of the “Om” shape formation on the peak of Om Parvat. ITINERARY OF ADI KAILASH AND OM PARVAT

DAY 1: HALDWANI KATHGODAM TO DHARCHULA (230 KM BY TAXI)

The group of passengers will be picked up, and the first day of the journey will start, and we will leave for Dharchula. Early in the morning, at 6:00 am – 6:30 am from Kathgodam Bus Station.

At proper breaks we will have our breakfast and lunch during the journey, after reaching our stay will be in hotels where proper arrangements for food and cleanliness will be given.

Dinner will be done at hotels, and during the entire journey, vegetarian food will be given to the passengers.

DAY 2: PASSENGERS WILL BE SENT FOR A MEDICAL REPORT TO GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL FOR INNER LINE PERMIT (NEPAL)

In the morning, after breakfast, the passengers will be taken to the government hospitals for medical check-ups. After the medical examination, passengers can visit the local Dharchula market and Nepal by themselves, and can also enjoy the local view of the place.

There is an international suspension bridge, from where people can move towards Nepal. You can also buy some stuff from Nepal.

Lunch and Dinner will be done in the hotels where you will be staying.

DAY 3: DHARCHULA TO NAPALCHU/ NAVI GAON (BY TAXI)

Adi Kailash Yatra will be started from Dharchula, and you will be made to stay at Napalchu via Malipa, Buddhi, Chiyalekh, Garbyang, and Siti. The journey will start after breakfast.

After lunch, travellers from Napalchu village will be taken to the temple (in Napalchu village) and Gunji village, in the middle of the mountains there is a beautiful portrait of “Shiva, Bholenath ji and Ganesh ji” and travellers will be given darshan.

The famous and ancient temple of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji will also be visited. 

Lunch and dinner will remain at the homestay, where you will be staying.

DAY 4: GUNJI TO NABHIDHANG, (BY TAXI) FOR OM PARVAT DARSHAN

On this day of the trip, after breakfast, the passengers will be sent to Nabhidhang in a jeep, from there the travellers will be shown the mountain “Om Parvat”.

And also, Kalapani temple, the cave of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji, Sheshnag Mountain, and Pandavas Mountain, will be visited by travellers.

The day’s food will be packed from homestay as the travellers will return from Napalchu village. Dinner will be done in the homestay.

Travelers will rest in the homestay of Napalchu for the night.

DAY 5: NABHIDHANG TO KUTI (ADI KAILASH), (BY TAXI)

On this day, after taking breakfast, the travellers will be sent to Adi Kailash. Travelers will have darshan and narration of Adi Kailash, Gauri Kund, and Parvati Sarovar. On this particular day, Devotees will have the full time to explore Adi Kailash and capture photographs of this heaven-like place.

Lunch and Dinner will be done in KUTI (Adi Kailash), where travellers will be staying.

DAY 6: KUTI (ADI KAILASH) TO DHARCHULA, (BY TAXI)

On this day, early in the morning, travellers will get up and have breakfast after having the darshan of Adi Kailash ji, then they will be sent back to Dharchula.

Your Night stay will be at Kumaon Mandal Guest House, along with lunch and dinner facilities.

DAY 7: DHARCHULA TO HALDWANI KATHGODAM (230 KM BY TAXI)

On this day after breakfast, passengers will be taken from Dharchula to Haldwani Kathgodam.

On the last day of the journey, the travellers will complete their journey with great joy and happiness. On the last day of the trip, passengers will be taken to Haldwani Kathgodam, where the journey will be completed, and passengers will get back home.

  • Original and photocopy of government photo identity card (Aadhar card, driving license, voter id, etc)
  • Passports and Visa important for foreigners.
  • Medical Certificate (the first part should be filled by the doctor and the second part by the trekker)

INCLUSIONS

  • Stays: homestay, hotel accommodation on a triple sharing basis.
  • Meals: all vegetarian meals from day 1st dinner to day 7th-day breakfast.
  • Transfers: by sumo/bolero/tempo traveller (depending on the number of travellers).
  • Snacks: morning/evening tea/coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.
  • Camping Logistics: tent, sleeping bags, mattresses, dining tent, toilet tent.
  • Trek Leader: qualified and experienced trek leader and support staff.
  • Permits: all necessary fees and permits.
  • Trekking Equipment: gaiters, micro spikes, and rope if required.
  • Safety Equipment: basic first aid kit with oximeter and oxygen cylinder.
  • Guide Ratio: 1:10

EXCLUSIONS

  • Any expenses of personal nature.
  • Meals during transit
  • Insurance of any kind
  • Any fees and permits (for non-Indians)
  • Any taxes on the trip 
  • Unscheduled delay due to a landslide
  • Cost Escalation due to “force majeure and evacuation charges”
  • Anything not mentioned explicitly in the above program

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • No Cancellations will be taken over phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Please reply to the email with the payment receipt that you received at the time of booking regarding the cancellation.
  • Free Cancellation up to 45 days before the departure date. (Booking amount is non-refundable)
  • 44 Days to 30 days of departure date. 10% of the total trip cost along with the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 29 Days to 20 Days of departure date. 25% of the total trip cost along with the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  •  19 Days to 10 Days of departure date. 50% of the total trip cost along with the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 10 Days to 6 days of departure date. 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 6 Days to trip departure date. 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • NO SHOW. NO REFUND.
  • Note: All the reimbursements/ refunds will incur a Payment Gateway charge of 2.5% & GST at 5% respectively. The payment Gateway charges will not be levied on the customers who have made their transactions via UPI.
  • Please also note that the booking amount for all packages/ trips is non-refundable whereas a Credit Note can be issued if the cancellation is made 3 days before the departure date (at the discretion of the organization)
  • In case of government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances, we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/ treks. At times even if certain activities are cancelled, the organization provides the best alternative but no refunds are provided.
  •  If a trek/trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity or unfortunate circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). No refund would be provided.
  •  Any extra expenses coming due to any natural calamity mentioned above will be borne by the customer. The company will not be liable.
  •  The cancellation policy will differ during the peak season and for popular places.
